The RGC Group of Companies is an industrial giant with diversified businesses and a reputation of excellence. It all began in 1968 when the enterprising Robert Cheng founded Polyfoam Chemical Corporation. In a time when inferior quality foam products dominated the local market, Polyfoam ventured to produce higher-quality foam at competitive prices. Through perserverance and consistency in quality, Polyfoam eventually became the choice of discriminating buyers.

Remarkable growth

     Through the years, Polyfoam significantly expanded as it became increasingly attentive and responsive to the growing needs of furniture, bedding, footwear, garment and automotive industries. This led Polyfoam to branch out and manufacture other products including coil and spring unit, flat woven and velvet fabrics for furniture and automotive upholstery, automotive radiators, leaf spring and monoblock plastic furniture.

     And the RGC Group of Companies was born - now comprised of Mayer Velvet International Corp., RGC Textile Manufacturing Corp., Roberts Automotive and Industrial Parts Manufacturing Corporation, Inoac Philippines, a joint venture; and the core of the group, the RGC Foam Group composed of Polyfoam-RGC International Corporation, Uratex Philippines, Inc., and Polyflex Industries.

     In the '80s, we began investing in technologically advanced machines and equipment to meet the increasing demands of the industries we serve. We also built new facilities to provide better and faster service. Today, with plants located in strategic areas of metro Manila and nearby provinces, the RGC Companies are renowned leading supplier for both local and international markets.
